The Seattle Washington Temple was announced November 15 1975 and the site was dedicated May 27 1978; the Temple was completed and dedicated on November 17-21 1980. The Seattle temple is the 19th working temple at 110,000 square feet on 23.5 acres. It has four ordinance rooms and twelve sealing rooms.
