The Idaho Falls Idaho Temple was announced March 3 1937 and the site was dedicated October 19 1940; the Temple was completed and dedicated on September 23-25 1945. The Idaho Falls temple is the 8th working temple at 92,177 square feet on 7 acres. It has four ordinance rooms and nine sealing rooms.
